Woodland Acres Farm is a small family run farm in the heart of Wisconsin. We started in minis in 1994 by acquiring one for a pet. But we all know that one is never enough, we soon added a few more and then a few more and you know the rest of the story.

We started showing minis in 1996 and have been very successful by having attained National and Reserve National Champions as well as many Top 10’s, Hall of Fame, All Star and Honor Roll horses.

Some bloodlines featured in our herd are Boones Little Buckeroo, Boones Little Buck Echo, Little Kings Santana Supreme, Flaby’s Supreme, Brewers Orion Classic, Sierra Dawn Uno De Mayo, Sierra Dawn Unos Monarch, just to name a few.

Special attention is always given to veterinary services, individual diets, and specific exercise programs. Our mares are carefully monitored at foaling time by a state of the art monitoring and surveillance system.

In 2007 we added to Shetlands to our miniature herd to begin a whole new endeavor into the world of ponies. We have always loved the bigger minis and Shetlands and now look forward to learning more about them.

We have been breeding minis since 1994 for show quality animals as well as pets. Our goal is to produce top quality show and breeding minis with correct conformation. Our horses have been carefully selected for their superior bloodlines and outstanding conformation.
